Battlefield 3 was released on October 25 with a trailer release on youtube on September 2. According to Battlefield 3 news over 10 million copies of the game were sold in the first week of the game being released, including several million as pre-orders. Compared to Battlefield 2 this new version of the game has released more copies of the game in a week than Bf2 released in an entire year. More and more people are buying the game and are not only comparing it to Battlefield 2 but also to COD’s new game which was also recently released, Modern Warfare 3.
